On Wednesday 17th May 2023 our U17 Glenquin Gaels team played the Mr. Binman League Final against Bruff in Kilbreedy. Bruff; as expected proved to be very strong opposition. Glenquin Gaels kept in touch throughout, and the match turned out to be a great contest between two fantastic teams. Bruff managed to get ahead on the scoreline during the second half and eventually came out as winners on the night. Our lads battled to the end and never left their heads drop during the game. Thanks to the players, coaches, parents and supporters who travelled to Kilbreedy to cheer on the boys.
Final score Glenquin Gaels 3-14 Bruff 3-19
Well done to the all the lads on a very entertaining league campaign, and we look forward to a competitive championship ahead from this team.
