KILDIMO/PALLASKENRY GAA CLUB NOTES
ALL STAR ! A massive congratulations to our very own Kyle Hayes who won his first All Star at the weekend. 2020 was a difficult year but it was one in which Kyle excelled. He captained the club to a county title, leading us back to senior ranks and on the intercounty scene, he was part of a Limerick side who had a 100% winning record across the season. He picked up League, Munster and All-Ireland medals and has now added an All Star to the collection.
This didn’t come easy; this is just reward for a lot of very hard work put in by Kyle. Well done to Kyle; a proud moment for himself, his family, his club and his county!
AR DHEIS DÉ GO RAIBH A N-ANAMACHA: Since the start of this year a number of parishioners have gone to their eternal reward. The club offers its sincere sympathy to the families of the following: Vera O’Donnell, Josephine Mann, George O’Rourke, Pat O’Shea, Joey Lyons, Kathleen Hannon and Mike Dillon.
The most recent death was Mike Dillon who was laid to rest on Thursday last. Mike was manager and selector to a number of teams over the years and made a significant contribution to the club which is reflected in today’s success. His sons Mikey and Gary have represented the club for many years as both players and mentors.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.

OPERATION TRANSFORMATION: Also, over the past few weeks, you may have noted videos on our social media pages supporting our local Operation Transformation leader Hazel Hartigan. The most recent home workout videos came from the O’Driscoll family and from U-6 coach Cathy O’Connor and family. Feel free to share your videos with us and continue to show your support for Hazel!
