Limerick Senior Hurlers will get their 2020 campaign off to a start on this Friday evening when they play Tipperary in LIT Gaelic Grounds in the Co Op Superstores Munster Hurling League Round 2 game..
The sides met in the opening Round in December last year when the roles were reversed, Limerick were All Ireland Champions and went under to Tipperary by 4.14 to 2.17 in front of 3,224 spectators in LIT Gaelic Grounds. This year Tipperary are All Ireland Champions and Limerick will be very keen to reverse last years result.
Both sides are expected to try out a number of new players the competition, as Tipperary did on Sunday last in Nenagh losing to Clare by the narrowest of margins in the Round 1 game
Both sides will announce their starting line out before the throw in which is at 7.30pm.
