U14

Our U14s have been selected to take part in this year’s all Ireland Feile competition on June 7th-9th. We will be based in Carrignavar being host by the local GAA club there Carrig na bhfearr. This is a great honour for all our players and mentors and we wish them the very best in this prestigious competition. Plans are now under way for this event.

U12

Our u12 footballer played Ahane on Thursday evening in Rd 2 of football league. In a very competitive first half ahane got a good start and scored to early goals. Our boys settled and worked hard and fought their way back into the game with the score at half time H-H 2-0 Ahane 2-03.

We started well again in the second half but Ahane scored some good points and 2 goals late in the half. Finishing score was H-H 2-01 Ahane 4-06.

Our u14s played the first round of the championship on wed night away to Murroe Boher. We won the toss and elected to play against the wind and after living off scraps we were lucky to be only 3

points down at half-time. We took control in the second half with the help of an early goal we ran out winners on a scoreline of 5 4 to 3 6.

Next up is wed night football championship v Cappamore in Knockainey.

Our cul camp this year is on from Monday July 8th to Friday July 13th. Places can be booked on www.kellogsculcamps.ie

The club will be holding u6,8,10 &12 parish league’s on Saturday May 25th so keep the date in your diary.
