Group 2: Glenroe, Kilmallock, Hospital/Herbertstown, Bruff, Castletown Ballyagran

Top teams in each into Semifinals. 2nd & 3rd in each group in Quarter Finals (2v3 & 3v2)

Junior A Football Championship:

GROUP 1: Croom, Fr Caseys, Castlemahon, South Liberties.

GROUP 2: Monagea, Cappamore, Ballybrown, Cappagh.

GROUP 3: Kilteely-Dromkeen, Dromcollogher-Broadford, Ahane, Crecora/Manister.

GROUP 4: Athea, Bruree, Newcastle West, Hospital/Herbertstown.

Three Rounds, Top Team qualify for the County Quarter, 2 v 3 Play in a Preliminary Quarter Final. Semi Finals Avoid repeat pairings where possible, if two teams who topped their groups after the round stages qualify for the Semi Final they will be seeded in opposite groups. Bottom Team in each Group will be relegated. There will be no promotion from Junior B in 2020. It is proposed that the County Junior A Football Championship in 2021 will cater for 12 Teams and it is proposed it will be organised similar as the County Senior and Intermediate Championships. It will also be review at the end of the playing season in 2020

Ireland Light’s Up:

Another great walk on Wednesday 22nd January 2020. Thanks to the stewards, John the Baptist Secondary School for the facilities and to Hospital Walking Group for their guidance. What great way to catch-up with friends and also make new ones along the way. Walk at your own pace. Suitable for all fitness levels and ages. See you Wednesday 29th January 2020 and every Wednesday until the 26th February. Registration is at 7pm in Church Car Park, don’t forget to bring a friend and your hi-vis.

Well done to Hospital NS who won the South Schools Indoor Hurling Championship last week. Well done to all the players and teachers involved.

Referee Course:

The Level 1 Foundation course for new referees will now take place on March 2nd, 4th & 9th with the final session on Saturday 4th April in Croke Park where Certificates of Qualification will be presented by Uachtaráin CLG John Horan.
