Grounds for Concern

Grounds for Concern is a mental health based play which is based in GAA dressing rooms and is coming to The Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on February 12th in association with the Lime Tree Theatre. Booking info: https://www.limetreetheatre.ie/show/grounds-for-concern/ Grounds for Concern premiered in Croke Park in September 2019. This inventive one man show is staged in a football dressing room and focuses on the mental health of a young male GAA footballer. The show has had a sell out run and was named as one of the top 10 shows to see at the Dublin Fringe Festival by Dublin Live.

Ireland Light’s Up:

Another great walk on Wednesday 15th January 2020. Thanks to the stewards, John the Baptist Secondary School for the facilities and to Hospital Walking Group for their guidance. What great way to catch-up with friends and also make new ones along the way. Walk at your own pace. Suitable for all fitness levels and ages. See you Wednesday 22nd January 2020 and every Wednesday until the 26th February. Registration is at 7pm in Church Car Park, don’t forget to bring a friend and your hi-vis.

Hospital walking group are also meeting on Saturday, 25th January 2020 starting at the Honeyfitz walking to Reardons pub then along the beautiful scenic road to Lough Gur and complete the loop and return to the Honeyfitz. As always bring your hi-viz and a friend.
