Intermediate Hurling.
Our intermediate hurlers were in action Sat night in the 2nd round of the championship vs Croom in Kilbreedy. In what was a game for the purists the lads showed huge battling qualities to eke out a win. Our record against Croom in championship matches over the years haven’t made pleasant reading but tonight we finally got a huge win to get our season back on track after the disappointment of last week. Leading at halftime by 0.10 to 1.05 we probably should have been a bit more ahead but a lead it was. The 2nd half was a tight affair with some important scores from Oisin O Grady and Harry Fox keeping Croom at bay. The leadership of captain Mark Deegan at centre back was phenomenal and the lads came away with a 0.16 to 1.11 victory. Well done lads. Team: Aaron Murphy, John O Riordan, Darragh Sullivan, Callum Winship, Ross Winship, Mark Deegan (C), Killian O Shea, Oisin O Grady, Michael Whelan, Harry Fox, Conor O Grady, Griffin McCaffrey, Killian Real, Mickey Bob Ryan, Tadgh Leddin. Sub Used: Keith O Connor

Well done to Sean Conway, Robbie Keogh, Cathal Hurley, Fionn Ryan and Christopher Harty who were all part of the South Limerick Under 14 hurling team who played the East, West and City Saturday in the Gaelic Grounds, a great achievement boys, keep up the good work.
