The purpose of the Club Limerick draw is to provide funding for our footballers and hurlers training fund from Minor to Senior grades. Please contact club officials for details. It can also be done online through the Limerick GAA website adding Hospital/Herbertstown as your club. Congratulations to Rena Laffan who won €500 and Breeda Allen who won €200 in July draw.

Intermediate Hurling:
Our intermediate hurlers started out their championship campaign on Saturday night last against Cappamore in Kilteely. In what was an excellent first half from the lads with a huge work ethic, the lads put in some super passages of play with our backs playing brilliant and a fantastic goal from Mickey Bob Ryan giving us a 1.08 to 0.06 lead at halftime. A very even start to the 2nd half with some good scores from both teams before we started to take over the game and held a 7point lead with 15 mins left. Unfortunately a very fortunate goal for Cappamore brought them back into the game and with some strange decisions being made against us we lost our shape and Cappamore took the lead for the 1st time with only a min left. The lads kept battling but lost out 1.17 to 1.15. A very disappointing result but a serious battling performance with plenty to work on for our next game. Hard luck lads. Team: Aaron Murphy, John O Riordan, Darragh Sullivan, Callum Winship, Ross Winship, Mark Deegan, Killian O Shea, Griffin McCaffrey, Oisin O Grady, Harry Fox, Michael Whelan, Tadgh Leddin, Mickey Bob Ryan, Conor O Grady, Killian Real. Subs Used: Keith O Connor, Dylan O Connor, Sean Prenderville.
