Club Limerick Draw 2024:
The Club Limerick Draw for 2024 will be starting up in March. You can join at any time. When you support the #CLUBLkDraw ,you are supporting your local GAA club as half of your money goes to your nominated club. The purpose of the Club Limerick draw is to provide funding for our footballers and hurlers training fund from Minor to Senior grades. Please contact club officials for details. It can also be done online. Thanks to everyone who supported the club in 2023 & congratulations to all our winners.

1983 Teams:
A civic reception will be held by Mayor of Limerick Ger Mitchell at County Hall in Dooradoyle on Friday Jan 19th at 6.30pm for our famous 1983 County Junior A Football & Hurling winning teams who made history by winning both titles and to this day still the only club to do this. Promotion to Senior in both codes was achieved by these great men & all involved are fully deserving of this reception. What they achieved going out every weekend at both codes 40 years ago was incredible and thanks to everyone involved.

Healthy Clubs:
Operation Transformation for 2024 started up again last Wednesday January 10th at 7pm at the church carpark. It continues every Wednesday at the same time. There was a great turnout. All are welcome. Don’t forget to register for My Life steps walking challenge that started January 8th and continuing until February 12th. Download app, enter details and register under Hospital/Herbertstown Gaa Club. Every step counts & best of luck to everyone.

Harty Cup:
Hard luck to John The Baptist who put in a very brave display before losing out by 0.17 to 0.13 in the Harty Cup quarter final to Ard Scoil Ris in Kilmallock on Wednesday afternoon in front of a very big crowd on a cold January day.its been a phenomenal year for the team & management and all the clubs involved should be very proud of their players. Well done to Lorcan, Diarmaid & Griffin who were on the starting team and Adam, Shane & Riain who were part of the panel. Well done to Mark & Ivor on management. Onwards & upwards for the lads & hopefully playing so well at this high standard of hurling can only prove a very good thing going forward.
