JUNIOR B OFF TO A WINNING START
Glenroe 5-23 Effin 1-15
Glenroe had a fantastic start to their Junior B league campaign with a convincing win against Effin. Glenroe started quick and gained control of the game with a flurry of scores with to take a commanding lead at the start of the game. They kept up this pressure leading to a 14 point lead at half time due to an excellent team performance. Glenroe 4-11 to Effin 1-6. There was a few changes made in the second half but this did not change the efficient way that Glenroe played racking up another 1-12 in the second half with some excellent individual and team scores along with accurate free taking. Glenroe ran out the eventual winners by a score line 5-23 to 1-15.
