GERALD GRIFFIN’S GAA CLUB NOTES

Shannon Gaels U21 Champions of 2019
Glin club hosted the presentation to the Shannon Gaels 2019 U21A County Champions last week. This was held in the Glin clubhouse. Glin’s club chairman, James Donovan, welcomed everyone and congratulated the team and management for continuing the strong tradition of football in our area. Gerald Griffin’s secretary, Teresa Cregan-Stack, also congratulated the team on their success and thanked Glin club for hosting the presentation. Glin and Gerald Griffin’s have been joined for several years now due to low numbers of players in each parish. This is proving very successful on the field of play and we would like to wish Shannon Gaels every good wish for the remainder of 2021.
Limerick county footballer, Killian Fahy, made the presentations to the players, where they received their medal and a beautiful canvas photograph of the team.
Well done to everyone involved.
