90’s Hurlers Reunion
Garryspillane GAA 90s reunion night in The Welcome Inn Garryspillane saw a great turn out of our 90s hurlers on the night. The club was celebrating two county intermediate hurling championships in the 90s and our first County Senior Final appearance in 97 where we were beaten by a star studded Patrickswell team. Our Intermediate win’s came in 1990 against Ardagh in a replay and in 1996 against Mungret also won in a replay. There was a great turn out of ex hurlers and supporters on the night. Frankie thanked everyone for turning up and for supporting our club. Deceased mentors, players and supporters were remembered on the night. The club took this opportunity to make presentations to our popular club president William Snowie Heffernan who celebrated his 90 th birthday recently and an outstanding club official and Chairman in Jim Dooley who was Chairman of the club for 24 years. There were a few great stories shared on the night from great days in the past. Garryspillane GAA would like to thank the Welcome Inn for the hospitality shown on the night.
Munster Senior Hurling Championship Tickets
Tickets for the Munster Senior Hurling Championship Rds 1 to 4 will go on General Sale tomorrow April 5th at 11am online and from Centra & Super Valu. There will be limited stand tickets available tomorrow for the Cork game online and through Centra and Super Valu. https://am.ticketmaster.com/gaa/
Waterford and Tipperary games at home should have increased capacity available. They will also be on sale tomorrow from 11am.
There will be no stand tickets available for the Clare game.
Our ticket allocation is significantly reduced as the season tickets come out of our allocation. There are 3250 season ticket holders.
The County Board Office will distribute a limited number of stand tickets, approx. 10 per club

Adult Stand: €25 Student/OAP Stand: €20 Juvenile Stand: €5
Adult Terrace: €20 Student/OAP Terrace: €15 Juvenile Terrace: €5
Similar to the league there will not be any ticket sales at any of the stadiums this year.
Shave For Dave
A great night is promised in memory of the late Dave Walsh on 28th May 2022 in Ballylanders Gaa clubhouse where top podcast guests Anthony Daly, Mark Landers, TJ Ryan and Tomas O Sè will discuss all things Gaa & more.Some members will be growing beards over the next few weeks & will be looking for sponsorship so please give what you can, all proceeds will go to Garrtyspillane GAA Club, Ballylanders Gaa, & the heart foundation. There will also be a raffle on the night with prizes including two tickets to the All-Ireland hurling final.
