Football League Fixtures
Our senior footballers face Ballylanders this Saturday at 6:30 in Ballylanders. This is the first competitive fixture for the team as the Oola game was postponed. Please support the team.
Con&Annie Kirby Memorial Stake
Gaels are on a winning streak with our dog “Kildare (M)” successfully progressing to the final 12 of the Con&Annie Kirby Memorial Stakes which has been taking place in Limerick Greyhound Stadium.
Thank you to Eric Kelly, Ger Condon and Dan McCarthy for attending on the club’s behalf over the last few weekends.
The next race is this weekend, fingers crossed we will get another positive result.
Intercounty Update
Hard luck to Bob Childs and the rest of the Limerick football panel after their loss in the Division 3 NFL final recently. All eyes now focus on their opening round fixture against Clare.
Well done to Conor McGrath and Zach McCarthy who were part of the Limerick U20 team who successfully beat Waterford Monday night in the Munster U20 championship. Next up for them is a fixture against Cork.
Finally, congrats to Eve Cleary (captain) Caoimhe Fitzgearld and Kate O’Donnell who captured the Munster U14 B football title after a great victory over Tipperary recently.
Wedding Bells
Last weekend was a busy weekend for Gaels on the wedding front. Congrats to Wayne Walsh and Trini King who tied the knot last Friday and also congrats to Des Lane and Breda Gaffney who also got married last Friday.

Golf Classic 2022
