The Distance Derby with Galbally GAA and Ballylanders GAA in association with Pieta House was a huge success. As of 9pm on Sunday night 5th July, the total amount had surpassed €15,000 and continued to grow. A huge thanks is due to all participants young and old, and all contributors for their generosity. Thanks also to the sponsors of the refreshments Ger Fahy (Horizon) and Jason Frewen. There are a number of people in both clubs who played significant parts and are well known for their contributions, and their effort are greatly appreciated.
