GALBALLY GAA CLUB NOTES

A strong Galbally contingent visited the Gaelic Grounds on Saturday night last as the Limerick Senior Footballers won the McGrath Cup and the Limerick Senior Hurlers won the Munster League. Galbally GAA were well represented in both games. Mike Donovan played on the Football team, performing well on the night. John Kiely was the Limerick Senior Hurling Manager and Mark Quinlan entered the game as a substitute for the last 20 minutes. Kieran Hickey is also in the backroom team but has been on a sabbatical in recent weeks. It was a positive start to the year from a Limerick perspective and we look forward to a great year ahead. Galbally GAA are extremely proud to have our natives involved at this level, and it is a source of great pride within the community and parish and especially in Galbally National School to see past pupils making progress.

The Latest Split the Pot Winner was Betty O’Keeffe who was the lucky winner of €328. Next draw is in The Abbey Bar – Joe’s, Galbally on Saturday Night 18th January.
