GALBALLY GAA CLUB NOTES
The Galbally Under 16 footballers won their Shield Semi Final away to Askeaton – Ballysteen – Kilcornan on Monday night last by 6.08 to 2.06. The team was Jack O’Keeffe, David O’Mullane, Conor Finn, Shane Ryan, Ciaran Beston, Cathal O’Mahony, James O’Sullivan, Paddy Kennedy, Eoin McGrath, Niall O’Dwyer, Owen O’Sullivan, Bailey Ryan, Josh Ryan, Ben Ryan, Billy O Keeffe. Subs Jamie McGrath, Eoghan Beston, Dillon Moriarty, John English.
The Under 16 Footballers will now face Monaleen in the Under 16 Shield Final in Old Christians Rathbane on Sunday 8th September at 11am. The Premier Minor Footballers will play Ballysteen in Ballysteen on Tuesday 3rd September at 6.30pm in a final group game that is effectively a knockout County Quarter Final. The Galbally Junior Footballers will play Banogue on Thursday 5th September in Stakers, Kilbreedy at 6.30pm.
Limerick Under 14 footballers beat Westmeath last weekend and Shane Ryan, Bailey Ryan and James O Sullivan were on the team. Galbally Minor Footballers will face Askeaton.
Congratulations to Thomas Walsh on winning €3000 in the Limerick GAA Development Draw. Congratulations also to James Ryan on his win.
