The Galbally Senior Footballers played Round 4 of the County Senior Football Championship action last Thursday night 1st August against Drom/Broadford in Kilmallock. It was a game where things clicked into place, and the 2-11 to 1-6 victory finally brought our first win in the Championship. There is one game remaining against St Kierans and the result of that game, coupled with results from a number of other games will have a huge bearing on our season. We can complete the group in any position from 3rd to 6th place, depending on the outcome of our game and the Na Piarsaigh vs Drom/Broadford game. Score difference will apply if three teams are level on points, whereas head to head will apply in the event of two teams finishing level on points.

The Minor Team had a 6-12 to 1-7 win over Newcastlewest in Galbally in the Premier Minor Football Championship on Friday night.
