GALBALLY GAA CLUB NOTES
The Galbally Junior Footballers confirmed their place in the South League Final with a 3-15 to 2-6 victory over Galtee Gaels in Kilbehenny on Thursday night last. The team was Conor Henebry, Aidan Sheehan, Tony Henebry, Cathal Flynn, Calum Sheehan, Liam Casey, Eoin Bourke (0-1), Ryan Tobin (1-0), Owensie Sheehan (0-5), Quinn Perry (1-0), Patrick Murphy (0-5), Podge Hyland, Darren Sheedy (1-3), Niall Kearney, Jonathan Scully (0-1). Subs: Fionn Flanagan (0-1), Alex Finnan, James Donovan, Vinny Sheehan, Jack Hogan (0-1), Conor O’Mahony.
The Under 14 team played Fr Caseys on Wednesday night last losing on a scoreline of 5-18 to 2-9. The squad was: Mikey O’Keeffe, Jason O’Mahoney, Hugh Flanagan, James Ryan (1-0), Evan O’Connor, Dylan Moriarty, Declan Heavey (0-3), James O’Sullivan, Bailey Ryan (1-3), Eoghan Beston (0-3), David O’Mullane, Evan Sheedy, Billy Kiely, Jamie McGrath, Jack Gallagher, John William O’Connell.
The Under 8 team played a blitz on Friday night in Herbertstown. The squad was: Lee Meade, Michael Davern, Danny Hanrahan, Stephen Davern, Michael Sheehan, Billy Harty, Sean McGuire, Noah Morrissey, Darragh Sheehan, Harry Houlihan, Kayla Crawford, Ryan Heffernan, Sean O Connell and Jack Hanrahan. The Limerick Under 15 Footballers managed by Kevin Denihan had a comprehensive 4-11 to 1-5 victory over Westmeath on Saturday last and the team contained Cathal O’Mahony at Centre Back, Conor Finn and Midfield and Owen O’Sullivan at Full Forward.
