Last Fan Standing
Fiona Buckley is our Last Fan Standing champion and winner of the €300 Jackpot !! After none of our six remaining entrants produced a full house of correct predictions this weekend, Fiona was deemed the winner on the basis of her selections having the most scored (as per rule number 9). Fiona also had the most correct selections with 4 of 6 correct results. Many thanks to everyone who supported our Last Fan Standing competition. Our adult club players which organised this fundraiser are extremely grateful for your generosity.
Well Done Limerick
Well done to the Limerick Senior Footballers who continued winning ways in the National League and made it two wins from two with a 2-09 to 0-11 win away to a fancied Antrim. Our own Adrian Enright playing his part with two important first half points. The team now get a break next weekend and will resume Division 3 action on Sunday February 20th with a home tie against Louth.
Unfortunately the Limerick Hurlers suffered defeat away to Wexford in the opening round of the Hurling league but the All Ireland Champions have a chance to redeem themselves next Saturday evening when they face Galway in the Gaelic Grounds. The throw in time is 7pm and this game will also be televised live by RTE Sport
