Fr. Casey’s GAA Club held its AGM last Wednesday night, December 15th in the GAA Clubhouse. The following are the elected officers for the coming year:

The Dee Harnett Virtual 5K
Dee Harnett who was an active member of both Fr. Caseys GAA & Abbeyfeale Utd sadly passed away in 2018. Since that year his family along with both clubs have held an annual Christmas run in his memory with funds going towards the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation. This year in the interest of safety the run will go virtual. We hope you can still participate and enjoy this wonderful event over the Christmas period and support a great charity in the process.
The challenge is to Run or Walk 5 kilometres between December 21st to 31st and then donate a minimum of €5 to the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation via the associated GoFundMe link. There will also be prizes for the quickest three times in Male, Female, Boys & Girls categories kindly sponsored by Abbeyside Strength & Conditioning. To compete for the prizes (optional), simply send your fastest time to 087-4121153 by December 31st. The race winners and raised totals will be published on both club Facebook pages on January 1st. Club Lotto
Fr. Casey’s GAA Lotto Draw continues each week with the Jackpot as of December 20th standing at €21,600 and rising by €200 each week not won. Since its launch our new Lotto has been a great success and we are extremely grateful to all our supporters both near and far for their generosity.
How do you play? Simply select three numbers from 1 to 30 and one bonus number from 1 to 10. If all four chosen numbers appear the jackpot will be won or shared. A match three prize of €500 is also on offer and applies to the 1 to 30 number selection not including the bonus ball. In addition to this we also have a match 2 plus bonus and a host of lucky dip prizes up for grabs each week. The draw will run on a weekly basis, each Monday night (Tuesday on Bank Holidays) at 9pm sharp. All ticket sales must be completed prior to 8pm will the draw results shared from 9pm on our Club Facebook Page.
Where can you buy a ticket? Tickets cost €2.50 and are available in a host of local shops including Moss Harnett’s Spar, An Siopa Milseán, Kathleens Foodstore, Sheehy’s Hardware, Danny Scanlon’s & Lanes Foodstore.
