Minor County Final
Next Friday night, Fr. Caseys Minor Footballers bid to write themselves into the history books as they aim to bring the Minor County Title back to Abbeyfeale for a record 13th time. Having won the Minor title in 2018 and 2019, victory in the deferred 2020 Final next Friday night will complete an amazing three in a row. Standing in their way however are an equally impressive Newcastle West team who booked their place in the final with a commanding victory over Monaleen last October. Fr. Caseys who topped their group, including a six point victory over Newcastle West last August were extremely lucky to reach the final, needing two late points to force extra time against Mungret in the county semi-final before having three points to spare in the end. The long delay to play this final would not have been welcomed by either team and without recent games it is difficult to gauge who the form side will be. One thing for sure is that both clubs always bring entertainment when they meet and there is no doubt a great battle will occur once more on Friday night. The game throws in at 7pm in the Gaelic Grounds. With limited capacity due to current restrictions this will also be an all-ticket encounter. For those who will not make the trip to Limerick stay tuned to our club Twitter and Facebook pages for updates throughout the evening. We wish all the players and management the very best of luck. All throughout this campaign they have made our club extremely proud and hopefully they will now get their rightful reward.
Club Limerick Draw
The next Club Limerick Draw takes place this Saturday June 26th with another jackpot prize of €10,000 and a host of cash prizes up for grabs including an Exclusive Star Prize of a LG 75″ UHD Smart TV. This will be the fourth of ten monthly draws which will run until December.
The Club Limerick Draw is one of our main fundraisers with 50% of the entrant fee returned to our local club. We strongly urge all club members to support this vital fundraiser and hopefully claim some of the wonderful prizes on offer. The cost of entry is €10 per draw. You can still sign up online via the new Club Limerick website @ www.clublimerick.ie, remembering to select Fr. Caseys as the nominated club during the process.
Club Lotto
Fr. Casey’s GAA Lotto Draw continues each week with the Jackpot as of June 21st standing at €16,400 and rising by €200 each week not won. Since its launch our new Lotto has been a great success and we are extremely grateful to all our supporters both near and far for their generosity.
How do you play? Simply select three numbers from 1 to 30 and one bonus number from 1 to 10. If all four chosen numbers appear the jackpot will be won or shared. A match three prize of €500 is also on offer and applies to the 1 to 30 number selection not including the bonus ball. As an additional bonus we have 4 lucky dips prizes totalling €150 selected each week. The draw will run on a weekly basis, each Monday night (Tuesday on Bank Holidays) at 9pm sharp. All ticket sales must be completed prior to 8pm will the draw results shared from 9pm on our Club Facebook Page.
