Well done to the Limerick Senior Footballers who gave an outstanding display last Saturday night in Croke Park to defeat Wexford by 3-11 to 0-18 to claim the National League Division 4 Title. Limerick were the most clinical of the sides on the night in a game that gave great entertainment and went down to the wire. We are extremely proud to have four players involved namely Mark McCarthy, Fiachra Cotter, Diarmuid Buckley and Rory O’Brien. There is little time for celebrating as Limerick will play Cork this Saturday evening at 6pm in the Gaelic Grounds in the opening round of the Munster Championship. Once more they will enter the game as underdogs but with a confident mood in the camp they are well capable of causing an upset.

On April 1st Limerick U20 Footballers play Waterford in Mallow in the Munster B Final while on Monday April 7th the Limerick Minors travel to Quilty to take on Clare in the opening round of the Munster Minor Football Championship. Best of luck to all involved

Fr. Casey’s Club Lotto continued on Tuesday March 25th with a Jackpot of €26,400 up for grabs. The numbers drawn were 7, 8, 10 with the bonus ball 6. There was no Jackpot winner this week but we did have five Match 3 winners claiming €50 each. Our three weekly lucky dip winners were also selected. The draw continues next Tuesday with the Jackpot rising to €26,600.

Club Limerick Draw Results:
The first Club Limerick Draw of the year took place last Saturday March 29th. Well done to Dolores Sheehy, Croagh/Kilfinny who claimed the €10,000 jackpot prize. Congratulations also to our club member Fr. Willie Russell who won a €200 cash prize in this month’s draw. The next draw will take place on Saturday April 26th.
