Limerick Football:
Well done to the Limerick Senior Footballers who secured promotion to the National League Division 3 with a very impressive 4-24 to 1-17 victory over Waterford last Sunday in Mick Neville Park. Billy Lees men have made a remarkable recovery after a slow start to their campaign and will now face an unbeaten Wexford this weekend in the Division 4 Final with the chance to claim some early silverware before the Munster Championship begins. Well done to all involved especially our own club players Mark McCarthy, Fiachra Cotter, Rory O’Brien and Diarmuid Buckley.
Unfortunately, the Limerick U20 Footballers suffered a 0-16 to 0-11 defeat away to Clare in their final round robin game which concludes their involvement in the Munster A competition. They will now face Waterford on April 1st in the Munster B Final. Well done to Calum Boyle who started at corner back for this team
Club Lotto Results:
Fr. Casey’s Club Lotto continued on Tuesday March 18th with a Jackpot of €26,200 up for grabs. The numbers drawn were 4, 11, 18 with the bonus ball 8. There was no Jackpot winner this week but we did have twelve Match 3 winners claiming €50 each. Our three weekly lucky dip winners were also selected. The draw continues next Tuesday with the Jackpot rising to €26,400. How do you play? Simply select three numbers from 1 to 30 and one bonus number from 1 to 10. If all four chosen numbers appear the jackpot will be won or shared. Club Limerick Draw:
The Club Limerick Draw returns this Saturday March 29th for a new season and once more there is a host of top prizes on offer including a €10,000 monthly jackpot prize, 28 other cash prizes and an exclusive star prize.
With 50% of the entrant fee returned to local club, the remainder going towards our county teams, the Club Limerick Draw is a vital source of funding for our local club and we are strongly encourage our club supporters to participate in the draw for the coming year.
