Fr Caseys GAA Club Notes:

The draws for the 2025 Limerick Club championships were made last Wednesday and both our Senior and Junior A teams have been handed some tough encounters. In Group 1 of the Senior Football Championship Fr. Caseys have been paired with reigning county champions Adare as well as Oola, Monaleen, Rathkeale and Na Piarsaigh. The first round versus Adare is flagged for the weekend of June 20th with the first three rounds occurring on consecutive weekends.

Our Junior A Footballers were drawn in Group 1 of the County Junior A Premier Championship with a plenty of local derbies to look forward to. They will start their campaign on the weekend of June 20thagainst Mountcollins before games against Monagea, Ballybrown, Athea and Mungret

Well done to the Limerick Footballers who kicked off their league campaign last Sunday with a hard earned draw 1-15 to 2-12 draw away to Longford. The Limerick team trailed by two points at the break but battled well in the second half. This weekend they are at home to Wexford in round two. That game throws in at 2pm Sunday in Mick Neville Park. It was great to see four Fr. Caseys players involved on last Sundays panel with Fiachra Cotter and Mark McCarthy starting in the full back line while Diarmuid Buckley and Rory O’Brien were available on the bench. We wish our Footballers the best of luck in the coming weeks.

Club Limerick Draw:
The Club Limerick Draw returns for a new season and once more there is a host of top prizes on offer including a €10,000 monthly jackpot prize, 28 other cash prizes and an exclusive star prize. The next draw is March 29th with online sales closing on March 18th

With 50% of the entrant fee returned to local club, the remainder going towards our county teams, the Club Limerick Draw is a vital source of funding for our local club and we are strongly encourage our club supporters to participate in the draw for the coming year. Fr. Casey’s Club Lotto continued on Tuesday January 21st with a Jackpot of €24,600 up for grabs. The numbers drawn were 8, 11, 27 with the bonus ball 7. There was no Jackpot winner this week but we did have four Match 2 plus Bonus winners claiming €50 each. We also had three lucky dip prize winners. The draw continues next Tuesday with the Jackpot rising to €24,800.

How do you play? Simply select three numbers from 1 to 30 and one bonus number from 1 to 10. If all four chosen numbers appear the jackpot will be won or shared.
