Fr Casey’s GAA Club Notes:
Upcoming Fixtures:
Junior Football League
Fr. Caseys Vs Banogue – Thursday April 4th in Abbeyfeale at 7.30pm
Limerick Football:
There was no joy for the Limerick U20 Footballers last Saturday in Ballygran where they lost to Clare by 1-09 to 0-06 in round 3 of the Munster Championship. This results leaves them in third place in the group and they will now face Waterford in the Munster B Final to conclude their campaign. That game will take place in a neutral venue on April 10th. Well done to Ronan, Michael, Dylan, Oisin & Marc for their efforts to date.
Our County Minor Footballers start their Munster campaign this Tuesday evening, with an away tie in Fethard against Tipperary. There is a strong Fr. Caseys contingent involved with this team. In total we have four players involved namely Danny McCarthy, Leon Curtin, Evan O’Connor and Aaron O’Kelly while Gerard O’Connor manages the team. Daniel Daly and Donagh Kelly are also part of the coaching team. We wish all involved the best of luck in the coming weeks with a home tie in Ballygran against Clare fixed for April 9th and an away trip to Waterford on April 16th.
Next Sunday also sees the Limerick Senior Footballers start their Munster Championship campaign with a daunting away trip to Cork. We wish Jimmy Lee and his charges the very best of luck
