Fr Casey’s GAA Club Notes:
Limerick Football:
Well done to Diarmuid Buckley who was named captain of the Limerick U20 Footballers in the past week. Well done also to club players Ronan Quirke and Marc Nolan who were also named as part of the 32 man panel for the upcoming Munster Championship. The first game for this team will be a home encounter against Waterford on April 10th with an away semi-final to Cork awaiting the winner.
At Senior level it has been a tough start to life in Division 2 for Limerick with heavy defeats to Derry and Dublin in recent weeks. There will be a break this weekend but then a very important away tie to Louth on Sunday February 19th. Adrian Enright has done us proud starting in the forwards in recent games and we also wish good luck to Fiachra Cotter who is part of the extended panel and Eoin Joy involved in the coaching staff.
Club EGM:
Fr. Casey’s GAA Club will hold an extraordinary general meeting on Friday February 10th at 7pm in the GAA Clubhouse. All club members are urged to attend this important meeting
Club Lotto Results – January 31st:
Fr. Casey’s Club Lotto continued on Tuesday January 31st with a Jackpot of €17,200 up for grabs. The numbers drawn were 14, 16 & 24 with the bonus ball 2. We had no jackpot winner this week but did have a match 2 plus bonus winner. The Jackpot for next week’s draw now increases to €17,400.

How do you play? Simply select three numbers from 1 to 30 and one bonus number from 1 to 10. If all four chosen numbers appear the jackpot will be won or shared. A match three prize of €500 is also on offer and applies to the 1 to 30 number selection not including the bonus ball. In addition to this we also have a match 2 plus bonus and a host of lucky dip prizes up for grabs each week. The draw will run on a weekly basis, each Tuesday night at 9pm sharp.
