FITZGIBBON CUP CONTINUES TONIGHT WHEN THREE QUARTER FINAL GAMES
Tonight Wednesday, two of the three remaining Limerick teams in the Fitzgibbon Cup Quarter will be in action, both away from home, in Quarter Final games.
Reigning holders Mary Immaculate College will play DCU at Dublin City University grounds at 7pm. In their last outing on Thursday last MIC had the narrowest of margins win over NUIG 1.20 to 2.16. Limeric’s Aaron Gillane was their top marksman scoring 0.11, (10 from frees)
Meanwhile LIT travel to play IT Carlow, in their last outing last week LIT scored a 3.18 to 1.07 victory over Garda College where their top scorer was Peter Duggan Clare who scored 2.10 of their total
The third Quarter Final game tonight being played in Belfield will see an all Dublin clash when UCD play DIT for a place in the Semi Final.
Tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon at 2.30pm at UL, the home side will play UCC in the fourth Quarter Final game in an all Munster encounter.
The Semi Final games are fixed for Tuesday 13th. February
