Club Lotto

Last Monday nights Lotto was held in the Glen bar Kilmeedy. The lotto numbers drawn were 05, 17, 22, 26. There was no winner of the jackpot of €3600.

Club Membership

Please note that 2020 membership is now due.

The registration night for club membership for the Senior and Bord na nOg clubs will be held on Thursday 5th & Friday 6th March from 7-9 pm in Coolyroe Sports Complex. It is important that anyone that wishes to become a member of Feohanangh/Castlemahon GAA club to come and register on one of these nights. If you would like to avail of one of the direct debit options please bring you BIC and IBAN bank details. All players need to pay the membership before training starts back to be covered under the player injury scheme. Membership details are available from the club committee. It is important that everyone is registered before 27/03/2020 to be included in the draw for Limerick match tickets.

Limerick Development draw

Last Monday night was the Launch of the 2020 Limerick Development draw. This was held in the Woodlands House Hotel.

Feohanagh Castlemahon GAA will be involved in the Limerick Development Draw again for 2020. The entry into the draw is €100 for the year. This is €10 a month from March 2020 to December 2020. The First draw will take place in March 2020. The date is to be confirmed. We would like to thank everyone that continues to support the draw. We really appreciate all your support. If anyone would like to join the Limerick development draw, please contact Kathleen O’Donnell or Anna Marie O’Keeffe. First Prize is €10,000

2nd Prize is €3000, 3rd Prize is €2000, 4th prize is €1000 5th-9th prize is €500, 10th – 13th prize is €250 & 14th -30th prize is €100. Limerick Senior teams

Congratulations to the Limerick Senior Hurling team that beat Cork last Sunday and the Limerick Senior Football team who beat Wicklow on Sunday in Mick Neville Park. Best of luck to the Limerick Hurling team who will play Westmeath on Sunday 1st march in LIT Gaelic Grounds LIT @ 2pm and the Limerick football team who will play Antrim in Portlenone on Sunday March 1st.

West Board All Stars

Every year the West GAA Board hold an awards night to recognise a great year on and off the field and honour players past and present on their achievements. This year Dan Sheehan will receive the Football Hall of Fame award. The awards night will be held on Friday 28th February in the Devon Inn Templeglantine. Tickets are €30 each.

School Appeal

Mahoonagh National School are teaching the skills of hurling to all the children in the school but due to the rules and regulations helmets are essential. We would appreciate it if anyone has spare helmets at home and are willing to donate junior helmets in good condition to the school so that everyone can participate safely. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Garda Vetting

All our coaches who will be involved with children up to the age of 18 years old have to be Garda Vetted. It is an easy process to go through. Garda Vetting services are available to any person over 16 fulfilling a role of responsibility with children. Consent from a parent/Guardian shall be required for applicants between 16 & 18 years of age. If you have any problem please contact our Child Welfare Officer Marie Field.
