Please complete the Health Questionnaire before each training.
Non contact training is underway for underage in pods of 15. Please note that all children need to be registered before they return to play . All new players welcome.
Before the season starts up for 2021 you may need new training gear. Training tops, hoodies, tracksuits, jackets, shorts and socks. You can pick up everything you need on O’Neills website. Order online through O’Neills – http://www.oneills.com . Just find the GAA section and click on Club and the Feohanagh/Castlemahon club gear is there.
Last weeks draw took place and the jackpot was 8500. The numbers drawn were 09, 12, 17, 30

Please note that all players are required to wear the correct Hurling helmet when training and in games. In Advance of the 2021 season players are reminded to check that their equipment is in good condition and meets the required safety standards. The following helmet manufaturers currently provide products which meet the standards set out in IS:355 or otherreplacement standard as determined by the National Safety Authority of Ireland, ATAK SPORTS, AZZURI, COOPER, MARC SPORTS, MYCRO, O’NEILLS. Once a facemask or helmet is modified in any way the player is playing at an increased risk of injury and are not covered under the terms of the GAA injury benefit Fund
The 2021 County U21 Hurling and Football Championships will take in the Autumn.
The U19 Hurling and Football Championship will replace the 2020 Minor Hurling and Football Championship. Will be played on Friday Evenings and Sundays.
Limerick Hurling & Football
Best of luck to the Limerick Senior Hurling and Football teams in their quest to win titles this year.
The 3rd round of the football is on Saturday 29th May in the County grounds Aughrim against Wicklow @ 3pm. The 4th round of the Hurling is on Saturday 5th June in the LIT Gaelic Grounds against Cork @ 7.15. The 5th round of the hurling is on Sunday 13th June in TEG Cusack Park Mullingar against Westmeath @ 1.45pm.
Feohanagh/Castlemahon GAA Club website is now up and running. Please note that everyone that will be involved in teams or in the club will have to fill out the Health Questionnaire form or have it filled out for them before they return to any activity in the club.
Please note that dressing rooms are not open at the moment so please come to the field ready to play. Also please bring your own water bottle to training.

Limerick Development draw

on winning 100 euro. Feohanagh Castlemahon GAA are involved in the Limerick Development Draw again for 2021. The entry into the draw is €100 for the year. This is €10 a month from 2021. The field committee to look after the facilities at Quaid Park Coolyroe are as follows: Noel O’Mahony, Mike O’Brien Jnr, Diarmuid Creedon, Jerry Noonan, Mike King, Des Roche, Dave Cremin, Gearoid Sexton, Damien Sexton, Conor O’Sullivan, John Lynch and John Kenny. There is an online app for coaches to book their time for training sessions. All coaches have been given the login details. A huge Thank you to all the club volunteers who are working tirelessly at the field every chance they get. There is wonderful progress being made at the field and the club really appreciate all the time that you give and hard work that you do.
Garda Vetting & Safe Guarding
All our coaches who will be involved with children up to the age of 18 years old have to be Garda Vetted and Safe Guarded. It is an easy process to go through. Garda Vetting services are available to any person over 16 fulfilling a role of responsibility with children. Consent from a parent/Guardian shall be required for applicants between 16 & 18 years of age. If you have any problem please contact our Child Welfare Officer Marie Field.
Ladies Football Split the POT
The draw took place last Wednesday evening. Thanks to Aishlinn O’Brien who collected winnings of 281for last weeks winner Caroline Hough and also drew this weeks winning ticket. Congratulations to Mary Roche Castlemahon who won this week’s Jackpot of 250. The next draw will be held on Wednesday 26th May.
