Feohanagh/Castlemahon GAA Club Notes:
Walkway Opening:
Last Thursday evening John Kiely Limerick senior Hurling Manager officially opened the Feohanagh/Castlemahon GAA Walkway in Quaid Park Coolyroe at 7.30pm. The walkway was blessed by Fr Cussen and a crowd gathered for this.
This was followed by the launch of the Limerick Year Book by Paul Anglim upstairs in the clubhouse followed by tea and coffee. This was a lovely evening and it was enjoyed by everyone as the kids got pictures and autographs with the Limerick Senior Hurling Manager.
Club Membership for everyone:
Club membership is now due. Anyone who needs to renew their club membership please contact one of the club committee members.
All players must have their membership paid before playing any match as you will not be covered by insurance.
St Patricks Day Parade:
Congratulations to the Castlemahon Development who hosted their 1st St Patricks Day Parade last Friday 17th March in Castlemahon Village. A huge crowd gathered from the parish and neighbouring parishes for this event which was a fantastic day out for all the family. As well as the parade with various floats and clubs and businesses involved, they had fabulous entertainment on the stage afterwards with some local talent to be enjoyed. We will be all looking forward to next years event.
Club Lotto
This weeks lotto draw took place on Monday night in the Villager Bar Castlemahon. The numbers drawn were 06, 18, 27, 30. The Jackpot was €1,500.
Congratulations to Micheal Nolan Feohanagh who won last weeks Jackpot of €1600. Well done Micheal.

Limerick Seniors Hurlers:
Limerick Senior Hurlers will play Tipperary on this Saturday evening 25th March in TUS Gaelic Grounds at 7pm in the semi final of the League.
Limerick U16 County Football:
Congratulations to Gavin Fitzgibbon and Fionn Meehan who played on the Limerick U16 County Football team Saturday and drew with Tipperary.
Voluntary Stewarts for Limerick match:
Anyone interested in voluntary stewarding for Saturday nights game please contact our club secretary or Ger Corkery directly on 087 6303040 by Wednesday afternoon.
Referee Recruitment:
The County board are currently trying to recruit new referees to join their refereeing team. They are asking each club to consider this and ask that each club find people interested in becoming a referee. If anyone is interested in becoming a referee please contact one of the committee members. There is a referee foundation level training course planned for April so please contact someone if you are interested.
Book Astro Turf:
Anyone that would like to book the Astro turf/ Ball Wall for a session can do so on line under www.feohanaghcastlemahongaa.ie or contact the club secretary John Quaid on 086 1714920.
It is €70 an hour.

Limerick Development draw 2023:
If you would like to renew or update your membership for 2023, please follow the link https://limerickgaa.ie/club-limerick-draw-signup/ and select Feohanagh/Castlemahon club and the number of draws that you with to sign up for. Feohanagh Castlemahon GAA will be involved in the Limerick Development Draw again for 2023. The entry into the draw is €100 for the year. This is €10 a month from March 2023. The field committee to look after the facilities at Quaid Park Coolyroe are as follows: Noel O’Mahony, Mike O’Brien Jnr, Diarmuid Creedon, Jerry Noonan, Mike King, Des Roche, Dave Cremin, Gearoid Sexton, Damien Sexton, Conor O’Sullivan, John Lynch and John Kenny. There is an online app for coaches to book their time for training sessions. All coaches have been given the login details. Garda Vetting & Safe Guarding:
All our coaches who will be involved with children up to the age of 18 years old have to be Garda Vetted and Safe Guarded. It is an easy process to go through. Garda Vetting services are available to any person over 16 fulfilling a role of responsibility with children. Consent from a parent/Guardian shall be required for applicants between 16 & 18 years of age. If you have any problem please contact our Child Welfare Officer Marie Field.
Ladies Football Split the Pot:
Our draw took place last Wednesday evening and Rebecca Meehan picked up the winnings of €262 for Sinead Kiely.
