FEDAMORE GAA CLUB NOTES

Congratulations to our under 21 hurlers who beat Knockainey by three points this weekend in the opening round of the under 21 championship. Next up is Templeglantine, Sunday 9th February at 12pm in Caherelly. All support appreciated.

National Draw

The club are selling GAA National Club Draw tickets again this year. This is a major source of income for the club and proceeds will go towards team registration fees, insurance, pitch maintenance etc. Tickets are €10 each and will include a FREE Fedamore GAA calendar and club newsletter. Prizes include a Renault Clio, travel voucher worth €2000, All Ireland Football and Hurling final Premium tickets with overnight accommodation, shopping vouchers and numerous other prizes. Fedamore GAA 2.5k/5k run/walk series

Fedamore GAA 2.5k/5k run/walk series returns to Fedamore on Thursday February 6th and will run for four Thursday’s (6th, 13th,20th and 27th). We will have a challenging, stewarded, lit up course suitable for all, similar to our Operation Transformation route last few years. Tea and coffee available in club house after each race. Registration is from 6.30pm at the club house each evening with race starting at 7pm sharp. €3 per night or €10 for 4 nights with all proceeds supporting our Bord na nOg teams.

As part of this series, we will be holding team competitions for all GAA clubs in East Limerick with a specially commissioned trophy for the winning clubs. There will be male and female competitions with 3 male or 3 female runners per team. The cost of entry is €50 per team which covers all 3 runners in all 4 races. Prizes will be awarded to the best overall teams at the end of the series.

Lotto

The lotto jackpot is now €14,300 as there was no winner of the draw held in Dempsey’s. This weeks numbers were 17, 20, 24 and 28. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were Colette Carmody, Grace Hurley, Geraldine Clohessy and Alice McGinley. Next weeks draw is on Sunday February 9th in Kirby’s. Thanks for your support.
