FEDAMORE GAA CLUB NOTES

Bord Na Nóg Training and Easter Camp
Following great progress made last year we are looking to build our club even further this year with the young people in our parish. Training will take place in Fedamore every Monday and Friday evening at 6.45pm for kids u6 to u12.

Our Easter camp this year is being held jointly with Ballybricken/Bohermore and in conjunction with James Ryan Limerick GDA officer. The camp will take place in Fedamore Pitch on 23rd, 24th and 25th of April. Times are as follows; under 6s to under 12s will be from 10am to 12pm. The under 14s to under 16s will be from 12pm to 2pm. This is open to all kids living in the parish. There is no charge and all places must be confirmed with Triona Dineen on 085 165 4429.

Fedamore GAA Lotto
There was no winner of the jackpot which is now worth €10,000. The numbers were 4, 11, 21 and 22. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were Mike Hogan C/o Hogan’s, Bridget O Callaghan, Anne Shanahan C/o John McMahon and Lorraine Slater C/o Slaters. Next week’s draw is on Sunday April 7th in Dempsey’s. Thanks for your support.

Junior Hurling

The first hurling game of the season for our junior team is on Sunday April 7th vs Pallasgreen in the county league. Throw in is at 6.45pm in Pallasgreen. We play Doon in the Brian Butler cup in Fedamore on Tuesday April 9th at 6pm. Please see updates on social media.

U21 Hurling
The hurlers of Ballybricken/Bohermore/Fedamore played Kilteely Dromkeen in the East Limerick u21 B final last Saturday in Cappamore. Despite a rip roaring second half we lost out by the narrowest of margins. Thanks to all players, coaches and supporters for their efforts so far this year.

Kilpeacon

Well done to the u14s who competed in the Feile last Saturday morning in Ballybrown. Thanks to parents, players and management for their support.

Con and Annie Kirby Memorial

Our run to the final is over for another year in the Con and Annie Kirby memorial. Thanks to dog owner Noel Hehir, Limerick GAA, Limerick Greyhound Stadium, JP and Noreen McManus and supporters of this great fundraiser opportunity for clubs.

Parish night out
Fedamore Parish night out on Saturday April 13th in Kirby’s pub. Race night, live entertainment, DJ and prizes including best dressed lady competition. There is a 2018 signed Limerick jersey up for auction and we also have a framed team photo from the Adare Manor in the raffle.

5k Run Thursday 4th April.

We are holding a one off 5k run/walk on Thursday, April 4th at 7pm from our pitch. Tickets will be available to purchase for the parish night out also on the night. Please spread the word and come along. 2.5k route is available also.
