EAST GAA NOTES

AGM :East Board AGM is proceeding on Tuesday the 7th of December at 8:00pm in Cappamore Community Centre.
To maintain social distancing and to keep attendance to a minimum the request is that two delegates maximum attend from each club.
Email has to be sent to all clubs about the AGM.
BRIAN BUTLER: On Wednesday evening 1st December the 2021 Brian Butler cup took place between Caherline and Pallasgreen played a dry and cold evening in the UL North campus.
On the evening Caherline got the win on a full-time score line to 0-16 to 1-11.
East board thanks to Referee Timmy Mcgrath and his officials and to UL for the use of the Campus to get this important fixture played for the first time since 2019.
On the evening East Board official Sean Mckenna presented the Trophy to Caherline captain David Balfry.
East Board would like to thank all the clubs for competing in this year Brian Butler cup.
U21: Congratulations to Cappamore and Doon who over the weekend won the U21A and Premier U21 Hurling championship.
On Friday evening Cappamore defeated Coshlea Gaels 1-10 to 0-8 in the U21A and Sunday afternoon in the Gaelic Grounds Doon Defeated Na Piarsaigh 3-19 to 1-14 3 in a row for Doon at Premier U21.
MUNSTER CLUB : East Board wishes the best of luck to Caherline Junior A hurlers in the Munster club semi-final on Sunday 12th December v Ballygiblin venue is Kildorry 1.30pm.
