Junior B Hurling championship update
Thursday 24th September Cappamore defeated Fedamore in the play off on a full time score of 2-10 to 1-9 match was played in Knocklong Cappamore would play Murroe-Boher in the semi final.
First semi final took place on Saturday in Caherconlish between Pallasgreen and South Liberties this was an entertaining game thru out from both teams. Pallasgreen took their goals chances when they got them and this was the difference on the day as they went to win on full time score of 3-12 to 0-14.
On Sunday the second semi final was between Murroe-Boher and Cappamore played in Caherelly this game was close all during the game and up until the final minute of the game it looked like we might need extra time but it was Cappamore who picked up the win on a full time score of 2-21 to 3-16.
The 2020 East Junior B Hurling championship final will be Pallasgreen V Cappamore and the final is fixed for the weekend of 3rd/4th of October
Junior B football Championship update
On Thursday evening in Knocklong neighbours BallyBricken-Bohermore and Caherconlish took the field in the first semi final. This game was nip and tuck thru out. Ballybricken-Bohermore with goals in the first and early on the second half looked to heading to the final with ease but a Caherconlish fight back and a late goal kept them in touch and make Ballybricken-Bohermore sweat for the closing minutes. The full time whistle Ballybricken-Bohermore held on to win 2-7 to 1-7.
Second semi final will take place on Tuesday 29th September Fedamore v Knockane 7.30pm in Knocklong.
