EAST GAA NOTES
East Board : On the 5th March East board officials and the clubs meet for the monthly meeting.
On the agenda was the Draws for the Junior A hurling and Football championships , Senior hurling draw , approval of the Master fixture list for 2020 and update on the U13s hurling and football academy.
SENIOR HURLING: The Senior hurling draw entered are Murroe-Boher , Ahane and Ballybricken-Bohermore and the draw is the following.
East Senior Hurling Championship
Semi Final 26th April.
Ahane V Ballybricken-Bohermore
Winners will play Murroe-Boher in the final on May 4th
JUNIOR HURLING: Junior A Hurling championship entered are Caherline , Kilteely-Dromkeen , Ahane and Ballybricken-Bohermore and the draw is the following.
East Junior A Hurling Championship
Semi Finals June 20th
Ballybricken-Bohermore V Kilteely-Dromkeen
Caherline V Ahane
Final to be played July 4th.
JUNIOR FOOTBALL : Junior A football championship entered are South Liberties , Ahane and Cappamore the draw is the following,
East Junior A Football Championship
Semi final July 21st
South Liberties v Ahane
Winners will play Cappamore in the final on the 28th July.
U13S: Maria Ownes East board development officer gave an update on the U13s football and Hurling academies that started in February and going forward the East board will be reporting monthly on the development on both academies.
