EAST GAA NOTES
JUNIOR FOOTBALL : On Sunday evening Knockane defeated Fedamore to win the East Junior B football championship on a scoreline of 3-16 to 1-9. Well done to Knockane and we wish the best of luck to both clubs going forward into the county quarter finals. Thanks to referee Kieran Flaherty and his officials and to Ballybricken-Bohermore for the use of the field . Maria Owens presented the winning trophy.
MINOR FOOTBALL : Minor A football final will take place on Wednesday 2nd October 7.30pm venue Knocklong between Caherconlish and Kilpeacon best of luck to both teams.
SENIOR FOOTBALL: Congratulations to Oola who will play Newcastle west in this year county football final on the 27th October . Oola defeated St Kierans last Friday night in the semi final.
