East GAA Committee Notes:

U14s Divisional Academy the past 2 weekend the final hurling and football blitz’s took place.

On Saturday 10th August in the Gaelic Grounds hurling blitz took place the following are the players, Oran Barry, Liam O’ Brien, Cian Murphy, Shane Duggan, Cuan Kilroy, Patrick Longeran, Philip Power, Jack Dwyer, Sonny Ryan, Tony Malone, Jack Hickey, Aaron O’ Brien, Sam Walsh, James Foley, Julian Quinn.

On Saturday 17th August in Maguries Field in UL the final football blitz took place the following are the players, Cameron & Rowan Gathan, Oran Barry, Richard Coffey, Adam Sheehan, Daniel Lane, Jack O’ Dwyer, Sam Hotan, Cian Murphy, Michael Humphreys, Aaron O’ Brien, Julian Quinn, Patrick Longeran, Dylan Duclot, Michael O’ Brien.

The U14s Divisional academy started on the 13th of April. We held a total of 8 training sessions across both football and hurling, in Cappamore GAA field every Saturday morning.

There was a great turnout every week for training and the blitz in both codes.

The East Board would like to thank the players and especially the parents for thier commitment and support in all weather for the academy.

Our Hurling coaches -Mike Boland, Steve Kelly, Con Hayes, Jack Franklin.

Our Football coaches -John O’Grady, Richie Coffey and Diarmuid Sheehy. All of whom have volunteered their time and experience to make this Academy the success it was.

Eoin O’ Mahony GDA with Limerick Coaching and games was a huge support all during the academy and the East Board thanks Eoin.

Since April we have had the use of Cappamore GAA field every Saturday morning and the pitch has been always in fantastic order. Thanks to our sponsor St Ailbes Credit Union.
