JUNIOR FOOTBALL: Congratulations to Knockane who defeated Oola in the East Junior B Championship football final replay on Saturday afternoon in Cappamore by 3-12 to 1-4.
Thanks to referee Philip Dee and his officials and to Cappamore for the use of the field.
Ger Longeran East Board Chairman presented the trophy to Knockane Captain PJ Butler.
The Player of the match selected for the East Junior B final was Vinny Ryan from the Knockane club.
Maria Ownes East Board Secretary presented the trophy and voucher to Vinny.
Thanks to Old Quarter bar in Limerick who kindly sponsored the player of the match award.
East Board wishes the best of luck to Knockane and Oola in the county Junior B quarter finals.
JUNIOR HURLING: Last Sunday afternoon in Kilteely Fedamore defeated South Liberties in the second of the Junior B hurling championship semi-final on a scoreline of 0-17 to 1-13.
The Junior B hurling final will be between Fedamore and Doon this date , time and venue has yet to be decided and this will post on the East board Facebook and Twitter pages and by both clubs.
East Clubs: Well, done to Oola who secured their senior status with a win over Galbally.
Kilteely-Dromkeen have made the quarter finals of the Junior A football championship.
