Congratulations to our U14 ladies Football team who had a comprehensive win over Ahane last week. We look forward to their next performance in the A Semi Final on Aug 18th. Our U13 Footballers were also playing this week and against Galbally
which finished in a draw with the final scoreline of Dromin Athlacca Banogue 1.5 to Galbally 2.2.
It was a busy week for our Club and we were immensely proud of 2 of our underage players who represented our club so well in the Limerick Minor Hurling Team. Cian Scully led his team on the night and William Dore was cornerback. While the result did not go our way on the night, our boys gave it their all and it was a fantastic
achievement for our small club to be represented so strongly at this level. We wish them all well as they progress in their hurling career and have no doubt we will see great things from them.
Limerick U20 Hurlers were unfortunate this week in the Munster Final but Congratulations to Limerick Minor Footballers who defeated Clare. This means that Limerick Minors will play in a Munster Final for the first time since 1998! We look
forward to watching them play Cork on August 11th.
Dromin Athlacca GAA Club wish Limerick Senior Hurlers Best of Luck as they face Waterford in the All Ireland Semi Final next weekend. It is so exciting to be heading to “Jones’ Road” again. We hope that everyone who is fortunate enough to get a
ticket has a safe and enjoyable day. Hopes are high for the Treaty Men but we have no doubt this will be a tough battle as Waterford will want to make up for the All reland Battle of 2020. Best of Luck to Clubman David Reidy and all involved
