Many thanks to Sporting Limerick for taking us all on a trip down Memory Lane over the past few weeks. They have entertained us by showing matches of days gone by and interviews with parishioners and club members some of whom are sadly no longer with us. First up was the Junior A
County Final in 1995 which saw Dromin Athlacca overpower Askeaton in Ballingarry. Next up was the
County Div 1 Final with us loosing out to Granagh Ballingarry. More recently Sporting Limerick entertained us with the 2007 Limerick GAA Intermediate Hurling Championship Final against South Liberties CLG. It’s fantastic to relive those games and witness the changes in the game as it has
grown from strength to strength over the years. We are grateful for the memories as we are reminded of the success our club has experienced over the years and enjoy again the skills of our players as they entertain us once more. These matches along with lots more are available to watch on the Sporting Limerick Facebook page and we look forward to seeing what more they have in store f or us.
