LGFA
It was a great week for our Ladies Footballers last week that saw both our U14 and U16 Ladies have comprehensive wins in their Championship campaigns. Our U14s travelled to Ballyhahill to play Gerald Griffins in the ¼ and came away with strong win on a score of Dromin Athlacca Banogue 4.14 Gerald Griffins 2.01. We look forward to their Semi Final in 2 weeks’ time.
Victory was had by our U16s also, who gave an outstanding performance against Oola in their County Semi Final. Score on the night was Dromin Athlacca Banogue 4.06, Oola 1.01. They will now face St Ailbes in the County Final next Monday evening. This is a fantastic achievement by both teams who have very young and enthusiastic players. Great credit is due to these girls, their parents and coaches. We wish them will as they continue their respective campaigns.

Sympathies
Dromin Athlacca GAA wish to express sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Fr Howard who sadly passed away last week. Fr Howard was a staunch supporter of our club and of the GAA ethos. He was always keen to keep up to date with the fixtures and results of all levels within our club and enjoyed reliving the glory days of matches he had witnessed and players he admired. It was a proud day for him to witness Limerick win the All Ireland Final in 2018 and he celebrated their repeated success with great joy. His gentle soul and charming wit will be missed.
