Dromcollogher/ Broadford 4-12

This was a game two halves at half-time we led by 2-9 to Templeglantine 1-4 and then in the second half they outscored us by 2-12 to 2-4, our goals in both halves came from Luke Ryan and Colm Ryan. The above club would like to the management team of Tom O’Callaghan, James Noonan, Adrian Cahill and club officials Gareth Meaney and Eoin Barry and the panel of players led by Nigel O’Callaghan Captain.

Daniel Noonan scored the first pointed free for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Templeglantine replied with a point coming from play to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 2-4 of the game our goals came from Luke Ryan and Colm Ryan and points came from Colm Ryan, Luke Ryan, Jack O’Sullivan and Damien Burke to give us lead on ten points with 13 minutes gone in the game and then Templeglantine scored the next point to leave nine points between the sides. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points of the game and these points came from Damien Burke and Luke Ryan to give us lead of 11 points and then Templeglantine scored the next three points to leave 9 points between the sides. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points and these points came from Jack O’Sullivan and Daniel Noonan both coming from frees to leave 11 points between the sides. Templeglantine scored their first goal of the game just before the break to leave 8 points at end of the half. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-9 to Templeglantine 1-4.

Templeglantine scored the first point of the second half and then James Molyneaux replied with a point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave 8 points between the sides. Templeglantine scored the next 1-5 of the game to bring sides back level for the second time during the game and Damien Burke scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to give us back the lead once again. Templeglantine scored the next two points of the game to take the lead for the first time during the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point coming from Jack O’Sullivan coming from a 65m to bring sides back on level for the third time during the game. Templeglantine scored the next 1-3 of the game to leave five points and Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the last 1-1 of the game both coming from Colm Ryan to leave the between the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at half-time Templeglantine 3-16 to 4-12.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

Results of the 330th draw took place on March 20th, in Begley’s Bar, Broadford and the numbers drawn were: 5, 8, 25, 32 there was no winner of the jackpot at €3,900 and there also was no winner of Match three at €100 and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Timmy Stokes, Glenduff, Broadford and Brian Noonan, Dromcollogher and the next draw took place on this coming Monday March 25th, in the Green Bar, Dromcollogher and the Jackpot is going up to €4,000 and the match three stayed at €100. Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.

Results of the 331st draw took place on March 25th, in the Green Bar, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were: 9, 11, 13, 26 there was no winner of the jackpot at €4,000 and there was three winners and they were: Sinead Curtin, Tullylease, Kieran Ryan, Dromcollogher and Lily O’Carroll, Dromcollogher and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Nell Kelly, Knocktoosh, Broadford and Brian Downes, Kells, Dromcollogher and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday April 1st, in Neenan’s Bar, Broadford and the Jackpot is going up to €4,100 and the match three staying at €100. Below is an excerpt from a press release by Limerick County Board today, in brief it states that “Due to the restricted capacity at Walsh Park Waterford, tickets for both Munster Hurling Championship games scheduled for the Waterford city venue will not go on public sale and will be made available via the participating counties and clubs only.” With this in mind only members that are fully paid up by this coming Sunday March 31st, will be eligible for tickets for the Limerick v Waterford game. Exceptions were made to non -paid up members for last years All-Ireland Final, this will not be happening on this occasion due to restricted capacity in Walsh Park. Membership prices are as follows and can be paid to any committee member – Adult Playing €50 – Adult Non-Playing €30 NOTE Not all members will receive tickets as demand is likely to far exceed the quantity of tickets we will get from the County Board.
