U21 B Hurling Championship Semi-Final

This was a very tight game down in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale, on very wet conditions, our goals on the night came from Luke Ryan and Jack O’Sullivan, in the Astro-turf 3G Pitch, we are now into the final against Templeglantine, on this coming Saturday March 16th, in Tournafulla, at 4pm (with extra-time if necessary) referee to be announced, in the group stages, we lost to Templeglantine, on a scoreline of 2-21 to 0-05.

Colm Ryan, scored the first point of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Askeaton, replied with the next point coming from a free, to bring sides on level terms for the first time during the game. Askeaton scored the next point to take the lead by a point and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-4 with the goal coming from Luke Ryan and all the points came from Jack O’Sullivan, two from play and the other two frees, to give us a lead of six points at the break. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-5 to Askeaton 0-2.

Askeaton scored the first two points of the second half both coming frees, to leave four points between the sides and then Jack O’Sullivan, scored another point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford, to leave five points between the sides. Askeaton scored the next 1-1 of the game to a leave point between the sides with 48 minutes gone in the game and then Séan Kelly scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave wo points between the sides. Askeaton scored the next point coming from a free to leave a point between the sides once again. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the 1-1 of the game with the goal coming from Jack O’Sullivan and the point coming from Maurice Fitzgibbon to leave five points between the sides and then Askeaton scored the pointed free of the game to leave four points between the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-8 to Askeaton 1-7.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

Results of the 329th draw took place on March 11th, in The Corner House, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were: 3, 6, 15, 31 there was no winner of the jackpot at €3,800 and there was two winners of Match Three at €100 and they each got €50 and they were: Séamus Barry, Broadford and Gerry Mulcahy, Broadford and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: The Parish and Geraldine O’Sullivan, Dromcollogher and the next draw will take place on this coming Tuesday March 19th, in Begley’s Bar, Broadford and the Jackpot is going up to €3,900 and the match three staying at €100. Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.

The Membership for above club is now due €50 for players and €30 for Non-players, can to be paid to team manager or any club committee office or club committee member by March 31st.
