U12 Football Notes

On Thursday night last our footballers took on St. Senan’s in Dromcollogher. This was a very entertaining game from start to finish with some great scores taken from both sides. This team have great potential if they keep working hard together. They must get top marks the way they way keep their discipline in their matches. The line-up was as follows. A. Cussen, B. Geary, G. Farrell, R. Jefferies, R. Sheehan, S. Egan, A. O’Dell, A. O’Kelly, O. Broderick, D. Fealy, S. O’Flynn, J. Lenihan, S. Browne, R. O’Dell, D. O’Connell, C. Burke, O. Stokes and A. Cussen. Thanks to Emma for doing first aid for the game. Big thanks to all our supporters and to all who helped after the game.

To the Limerick Hurlers Management Team led by John Kiely (Galbally) and to the Limerick Senior Hurlers led by Declan Hannon (Adare), especially our club officer John Cregan (Chairman of the Limerick County Board) against Waterford, they defeated Waterford on a scoreline of 2-24 to 0-10, in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship Round 3.

To the Limerick Senior Footballers Management Team led by Billy Lee (Newcastle West) and to the Limerick Senior Footballers led by joint captains Lain Corbett (Newcastle West) and Donal O’Sullivan (Monaleen) and especially our club players Garrett Noonan and Cillian Fahy especially our club officer John Cregan (Chairman of the Limerick County Board) against Cork, they lost to Cork on a scoreline of 3-18 to 0-06, with Cillian Fahy started at center Forward was taken off during the second half and Garrett Noonan was brought on a second half substitution, in the Munster Senior Football Championship Semi-Final.
