This was a very tight game with both of our goals coming from Adam Cotter, this was our second game in the group stages we have Beville Gaels and Askeaton left to play in the group stages.
Adare scored the first three of the game and then Jack Pierce of Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with a point to leave two points between the sides. Adare scored the next 1-3 of the game to leave eight points between the sides and then Killian Cahill replied two pointed frees to leave six points between the sides. Adare scored the next three points to leave nine points between the sides and then Jack Pierce scored another point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave eight points between the sides. Adare scored the next point to leave nine points between the sides and then Killian Cahill of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored another pointed free just before the break to leave eight points between the sides at end of the half. To leave the scores at half-time Adare 1-10 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-5.
Adare scored the first point of the second half to leave nine points between the sides once again and then Killian Cahill scored another pointed for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave eight points between the sides once again. Adare scored the next 1-2 of the game to leave 12 points between the sides and then Adam Cotter of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 2-1 of the game with 42 minutes gone in the game to leave five points between the sides. Adare scored the next 1-1 of the game to leave nine points between the sides once again and then Killian Cahill scored another pointed free for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave eight points between sides. Adare scored the next two points to leave ten points between the sides and then Killian Cahill scored the last pointed free of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave eight points between the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Adare 3-15 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-09.

U12 Football Notes
On Thursday 2nd of May our footballers had a league game against Adare. This game was played in Adare and again failed to have a neutral referee. This was some battle of a game from start to finish. The movement of our players was excellent right through the game, there was some brilliant defending done by our goalie and backs with our midfielder’s working very hard, all our forwards played well and getting some excellent scores. At the game we were so unlucky with the score losing by a couple of points. The panel was as follows 1.Alex Cussen, 2.Brendan Geary, 3.Ollie Broderick, 4.Dan Connell, 5.Sean O’Flynn, 6. U8 Notes
On Friday night the 3rd of May our under 8 Board na Nóg boys and girls traveled to Raheenagh for their very first under 8 blitz of the season. Each player got to play 4 matches in total and we saw some a massive effort from every single boy and girl on our team. We have a great season ahead of us. There was a total of 12 clubs on the night. Drom/Broadford had 3 teams on the night who were under the supervision of their coaches Emma Browne, Jean Jefferies, Eileen Noonan and Darragh Reidy along with the help of our parent and guardians. Well done to everyone involved.
