U13 Football Notes
Our footballers are after a busy week with games against Newcastle West on Thursday night. On Thursday night we were missing a few regulars but the boys that were in action worked very hard but the result did not go there way. After that result it meant that our boys had a playoff fixture against St. Kieran’s on Sunday. On Sunday our boys travelled to Coolcappagh for the playoff for the winners to be in the co final. The Drom Broadford team worked extremely hard all through this game, there goalie and there defenders were really tight with there midfielders and forwards doing some great movement and getting some great scores. Our boys came out on top on a scoreline of 6- 3 to 2-5. It is great for these boys to have the experience of Garrett Noonan, James Noonan and Jack Ryan involved in the team. These boys are in a co final next Saturday in Mick Neville at 10 o clock against Cappagh/ Rathkeale best of luck.
Best of Luck
