U20 County C Hurling Championship Final
Dromcollogher/Broadford 4-14 Caherline 1-15
This was a great game of Hurling served by both clubs and we crowed U20 C Hurling Champions on the night. The sides were level at the break on a scoreline of 2-6 to 1-9 with our goals coming from Rory O’Dell and Ronan O’Sullivan and the goal for Caherline came from Evan Martin and then in the second half we outscored Caherline on scoreline of  2-8 to 0-6 with both of our goals coming from Ronan O’Sullivan to give us victory on the night by eight points and to get revenge from the game in the group stage in which Caherline won by nine points on the day. This game was played on last Wednesday in the artificial grounds of UL North Campus. Congratulations and well done to the Management team of Denis O’Callaghan, Denis Donegan, Damien Burke and Gareth Meaney and backroom team of John O’Dell and Jimmy Lacey and the panel of players led by Brian O’Callaghan captain.
Padraig McCarthy of Caherline scored the first point of the game and then Rory O’Dell of Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with a goal with 2 minutes gone in the game to give us lead of two points.  Caherline scored the next 1-3 to put four points between the sides with the goal coming from Evan Martin with three minutes gone in the game and these points came from Padraig McCarthy, Sam McElligott, Evan Martin.  Tommy Ryan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with a pointed free to leave three points between the sides and then Caherline scored the next two points to leave five points between the sides and these points came from Kieran Godfrey and Padraig McCarthy.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points, and these points came from Tommy Ryan pointed free and Adam O’Kelly to leave three points between the sides and then Ronan O’Sulllivan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored his first goal of the game with 19 minutes gone in the game to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game. Ronan O’Sullivan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Hugh Murnane of Caherline exchanged points to leave sides for the second time during the game. John Lenihan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Sam McElligott of Caherline exchanged points for the third time during the game.  Hugh Murnane of Caherline and Tommy Ryan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged pointed frees for the fourth time during the game just before the end of the half. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-6 to Caherline 1-09.
Tommy Ryan of Dromcollogher/Broadford to give us lead of a point and Ronan O’Sullivan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored his second goal of the game with 39 minutes gone in the game to leave four points between the sides.  Tommy Ryan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next pointed free to give us lead by five points and then Hugh Murnane of Caherline and Tommy Ryan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged pointed frees to leave five points between the sides.  Caherline scored the next four points and with two of these points came from Hugh Murnane one from 65m and the other from a free and two other points came from Padraig McCarthy and Sam McElligott to leave a point between the sides. John Lenihan of Dromcollogher/Broadford and Hugh Murnane of Caherline exchanged points to leave a point between the sides once again.  Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next four points and with three of these points came from Tommy Ryan two from frees and the from a penalty after John Lenihan was fouled to leave five points between the sides. Ronan O’Sullivan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored his third goal of the game to leave eight points between the sides with 61 minutes gone the game to seal victory on the night and to give us revenge from the group stage.  To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/Broadford 4-14 to Caherline 1-15. U20 County A Football Championship Group 1 Round 3
Dromcollogher/Broadford 7-14 Adare 3-16
This game was played on last Friday night, in the UL North Campus, in the Artificial grass. This was a game of two halves with Adare leading at the break by 1-9 to 1-7 with our goal coming from Robbie Lynch and 2 two pointers coming from Robbie Lynch and then in the second half we outscored Adare by 6-7 to 2-7 and with two goals each coming from Micheál Fahy and Robbie Lynch and another goal coming each from Ronan O’Sullivan and Ben Croke and a two pointer coming from Tommy Ryan after three rounds the table reads as follows: Dromcollogher/ Broadford 6 points +25, Ballylanders 2 points +6, Na Piarsaigh 2 points +5, Adare no points -36. This win puts in the Semi-Final, on this coming Tuesday 16th December, venue, time and referee to be announced with extra-time and penalties if necessary. Please support your local club team.

Adare scored a goal with five minutes in the game to leave four points between the sides and then Adam O’Kelly of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored another point to leave three points between the sides.  Adare scored another point to leave four points between the sides and then Robbie Lynch of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored his first two pointer of the goal to leave two points between the sides.  Robbie Lynch of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored another point from 45m to leave a point between the sides and then Adare scored a point to leave two points between the sides.  Robbie Lynch of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored another two-pointer coming from a free to leave sides on level terms for the first time during the game.  Adare scored the next points to lead by two points and then Robbie Lynch of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the first goal of the game with 27 minutes gone in the game to give us a lead of a point for the first time during the game. Adare scored the next three points to lead two points at the break. To leave the score at half-time Adare 1-9 to Dromcollogher/Broadford 1-7.

Ronan O’Sullivan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next point goal with 37 minutes gone in the game to give us a lead three points and then Micheál Fahy of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next from the resulting short puck from the keeper to give us a lead of six points with 38 minutes in the game.  Adare scored a goal with 40 minutes gone in the game to leave three points in the game and then Tommy Ryan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored a two pointer to leave five points between the sides.  Adare scored the next goal of the game with 42 minutes gone in the game; to leave two points beaten by the sides and then Adare scored a point to leave a point between the sides. Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next two points coming from Robbie Lynch and Micheál Fahy to leave three points between the sides and Robbie Lynch of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next goal of the game with 49 minutes gone in the game to leave six points between the sides. Adare scored the next point of the game to leave five points between the sides and then Robbie Lynch of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next goal of the game with 51 minutes gone in the game to leave eight points between the sides. Dromcollogher/Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw:
The following are the results of the lotto draw that took place on the 08-12-25 and the numbers drawn were: 6, 11, 13, 31. There was no winner of the Jackpot at €7,300 and there also was no winner of match three at €100 and the lucky dips were: Jacqueline Kiely and Charlie Duggan and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday December 15th in the GAA Grounds, Dromcollogher at 9.30pm Sharp and the Jackpot is going up to €7,400 and match three is staying at €100.
