U16 All County Football Championship Division 2 Final
Dromcollogher/Broadford 4-08 Kildimo/Pallaskenry 3-05
This was a very tight game played in very fine conditions, in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale , on Saturday last, at the break we lad by 3-4 to 1-4 with two of our goals coming from Ollie Stokes and the other goal came from Brendan Meehan and then in the second half both sides scored the extract same Kildimo/ Pallaskenry scoring 2-1 and we scored 1-3 with our goal coming from Séan O’Flynn to seal victory by six points and to complete the double in the U16 All County Division 2 Championship Champions 2025. Congratulations and Well done to the management team of: Paddy O’Kelly, Maurice McCarthy, Marty Stokes, Gareth Meaney, Maurice Browne, Joe Mulcahy, Bridget Costello/ O’Flynn and the Brillant panel of players lead by Séan O’Flynn Captain.
Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first 1-1 with the point coming Tieran O’Flynn and the goal came Ollie Stokes with five minutes gone in the game to lead by four points and Miguel Azzopardi of Kildimo/ Pallaskenry scored a point to leave three points between the sides. Ollie Stokes of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-1 with nine minutes gone in the game to give us a lead of seven points between the sides. Hughie McCauley of Kildimo/ Pallaskenry scored the goal of the game with 11 minutes gone in the game to leave four points between the sides. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-1 of the game with the point coming from Michael O’Kelly and the goal coming from Brendan Meehan to leave eight points between the sides with 17 minutes gone in the game and then Kildimo/ Pallaskenry scored the next three points of the game, and these points came from Miguel Azzopardi, Jeff O’Donnell, Cian Canty to leave five points between the sides. Ollie Stokes of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the last point of the half to leave six points between the sides at the break. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 3-4 to Kildimo/ Pallaskenry 1-4.
Kildimo/ Pallaskenry scored the first 2-1 of the second half to lead a point for the first time during the game with 40 minutes gone in the game and these goals came from Hughie McCauley and Jamie Taylor and the point came from Jamie Taylor and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-4 of the game with the goal coming from Séan O’Flynn 49 minutes gone in the game and the two points each coming from Ollie Stokes and Micheál O’Kelly to give us victory on the day by six points and to complete the double in the U16 All County Division 2 Championship Champions 2025. County Junior C Football Championship Quarter Final:
Glin 0-9 Dromcollogher/Broadford 0-7
This was game was played in very heavy conditions, played in Mountcollins. This was a game for two halves with sides been level on four points at the break and then in second half Glin outscored us by 5 points to 3 points, we had a chance for goal in the last five minutes of the game, which was taken by Michael O’Sullivan, but the keeper blocked it.
Paddy Fitzgerald of Glin scored the first point of the game and then Killian Cahill of Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with a point to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game. Ger Riordan of Glin scored the next point to give back the lead and then Killian Cahill of Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with a point to bring the sides back on level terms for the second time during the game. Jack Adams of Glin scored the next point of the game to take the lead and Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next two points to give us the lead for the first time during the game by a point. Ger Lyons of Glin scored the last point of the half to bring sides back on level terms for the fourth time during the game. To leave the score at half-time Glin 0-4 to Dromcollogher/Broadford 0-4.
Danny Mullane of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the first point of the second half next to give us back the lead by a point and then Paddy Fitzgerald of Glin scored the next point to bring sides on level terms for the fifth sides during the game. Keith Lacey scored the next point of game to give us back the lead once again and then Glin scored the three points coming from Martin McNamara, Ger Lyons and Breean Cunnigham to give them a lead by three points and then Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the last point of the game to leave two points between the sides at end of the game.
