U16 All County Hurling Championship Division 2 Final
Dromcollogher/Broadford 1-22 Patrickswell 2-10
This was a game of two halves with sides drawing at half-time at 0-11 to 1-08, and then in the second half we outscored Patrickswell by 1-11 to 1-2, to win by nine points on the day, our goal came from Micheál O’Kelly in the second half of the game. Congratulations and Well done to the management team of: Paddy O’Kelly, Maurice McCarthy, Marty Stokes, Gearóid Hegarthy, Maurice Browne, Joe Mulcahy, Bridget Noonan/ O’Flynn and the panel of players lead by Micheál O’Kelly Captain.
Colin Burke of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the first two points of the half and then Patrickswell got a goal to leave a point between the sides with eight minutes gone in the game. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three points to lead by two points with two of these points coming from Colin Burke and the other point coming from Micheál O’Kelly. Patrickswell scored the next point to leave a point between the sides and then Colin Burke of Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave two points between the sides.  Patrickswell scored the next point of the game to leave a point to leave between the sides and then Ollie Stokes of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next point to leave two points between the sides.  Patrickswell scored the next point to leave a point between the sides and then Micheál O’Kelly of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point to leave two points between the sides. Patrickswell scored the next two points to bring sides back on level terms for the second time during the game and then Colin Burke of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the point from a free to leave a point between the sides. Patrickswell scored the next two points to take the lead by a point. Micheál O’Kelly of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point to bring sides on back on level terms for the fourth time during the game. Patrickswell scored the next point to take the lead and then Colin Burke of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the last point of the half to sides back on level terms for the fifth time during the game.  To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-11 to Patrickswell 1-08.
Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the first six points of the second half with two coming from Colin Burke and the other points came from Ciaran O’Callaghan, Ollie Stokes, Cian O’Donovan and Muiris McCarthy and Patrickswell scored a point to leave five points between the sides. Micheál O’Kelly of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next goal of the game with 46 minutes gone in the game to lead by eight points and then Patrickswell scored a point to leave seven points between the sides. Colin Burke of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next point eight points between the sides and then Patrickswell scored the next goal of the game to leave five points between the sides with 52 minutes gone in the game. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the last four points of the game to leave nine points between the sides at end of the game to give victory for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and with two of these points coming from Micheál O’Kelly and the other points came from Colin Burke and Ciaran O’Callaghan. To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-22 to Patrickswell 2-10. The following are the results of the lotto draw that took place on the 20-10-25, and the numbers drawn were: 4, 20, 26, 31 There was no winner of the Jackpot at €6,500 and there was also was no winner of match three at €100 and the lucky dips were: Naomi Noonan and Mary Ryan and the next draw will take place on this coming Tuesday October 28th, in the GAA Grounds, Dromcollogher, at 9.30pm Sharp and the Jackpot is going up €6,600 and match three is staying at €100.
