This was a very tight game with Adare leading at break by 1-6 to 1-4 with our goal coming from John Lehihan and then in the second half we outscored Adare by 1-6 to 1-4 with our goal coming from Rory O’Dell. After two games the table reads as follows Dromcollogher/ Broadford 3 points +1, Croom/Ballybricken/Boheramore 2 points +5, Ballylanders 2 points +11, Adare 1 points -16, Shannon Gaels/Athea no points -1. Adam O’Kelly scored the first point for Dromcollogher/Broadford in the first minute of the game and then Adare replied with a point to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game.  John Lenihan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored his first pointed free of the game to give us back into the lead once again and then Adare scored first goal of the game with 15 minutes gone in the game to give them a lead of two points.  John Lehihan of Dromcollogher/Broadford replied with a goal straight away from 40 metres out from the goals to give us the lead back once again by a pointer and then Adare scored the next point of the game which was two pointer to give them a lead by a point. Rory O’Dell of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next point of the game to bring sides back on level terms for the second time during the game and then Adare scored the next three points of the game to lead by three points. Daniel O’Connell of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the last point of the half just before the break to leave two points between the sides. To leave the score at half-time Adare 1-6 to Dromcollogher/Broadford 1-4.

Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the first three points of the second half to lead by a point with two these points coming from Adam O’Kelly and the other point coming from John Lenihan and then Adare scored the next two points of the game to lead by a point.  John Lenihan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next point of the game to bring sides back on level terms for the fourth time during the game and then Adare scored the next 1-1 of the game with the goal coming from penalty with 46 minutes gone in the game and the point to give them a lead of four points. Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next 1-2 of the game with the goal coming from Rory O’Dell and the points coming from John Lenihan with his second point which was some point to give us back the lead once again by a point. Adare scored the last point of the game coming from a free in the last kick of the game to bring sides on level terms for the sixth time of the game. To the Limerick senior football management team led by Jimmy Lee and the Limerick senior footballers and especially to our club captain Cillian Fahy (1-1) against Kildare, Kildare defeated Limerick on a scoreline of 1-24 to 2-19, in the All-Ireland senior football Tailteann Cup Final.
